Highway 9 east of Orangeville has been closed in both directions following a serious two-vehicle collision.
Ontario Provincial Police say the shutdown is in effect between Highway 10 and Airport Road as emergency crews respond to the scene.
Injuries have not yet been confirmed, but officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the closure remains in place.
