A cyclist is in life-threatening condition after a collision with a vehicle in Whitchurch-Stouffville on Monday afternoon.
York Regional Police say the crash happened around 4:15 p.m., near York-Durham Line and Hoover Park Drive. The intersection is located in the town’s eastern area, close to key routes connecting Stouffville and the Durham Region boundary.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was transported to a Toronto-area hospital with serious non life-threatening injuries.
Road closures were put in place while investigators examined the scene, though the area has since reopened to traffic.
