One person was taken to hospital for assessment after a large house fire caused significant damage in Mississauga on Monday evening.
The fire broke out shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Pringle Place, near Escada Drive in the Churchill Meadows neighbourhood, west of Winston Churchill Boulevard and north of Eglinton Avenue West.
Peel paramedics say the individual’s injuries were not considered serious. The fire has since been extinguished.
Pringle Place was closed to traffic while emergency crews remained on scene, and investigators continue to examine the cause of the fire.
