A 21-year-old G2 driver from Markham is facing charges following a three-vehicle crash in Erin, Ont., earlier this month.
Emergency crews responded to the collision around 10 a.m. on May 16 at the intersection of Sideroad 5 and Trafalgar Road.
Ontario Provincial Police said a blue sedan rolled over and came to rest on its side in a grassy area, while a white sedan ended up in a ditch. A white SUV remained on the roadway following the crash.
The driver of the blue sedan was transported to hospital as a precaution, though no other injuries were reported.
Police have charged one of the drivers involved with careless driving and failing to properly wear a seatbelt. Investigators confirmed the accused held a G2 licence but did not specify which vehicle they were operating at the time of the collision.
