A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car at the intersection of Harvie Road and Bryne Drive in Barrie during Monday’s afternoon rush hour.
Police and emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 4 p.m. The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash caused temporary traffic delays as first responders assisted those involved and investigated the incident.
Traffic flow in the area resumed by approximately 4:30 p.m.
Update – Following the investigation, a woman in her 70s was charged with failing to make a safe turn.
