A man has died following a collision in Etobicoke on Monday evening.
Toronto police were called to the area of Shorncliffe Road and Bramshott Road, near Dundas Street West, shortly after 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a vehicle had struck a parked truck.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
Update – The victim is identified by relatives to be 63-year-old Kelly Nichols, an owner of a service station in Etobicoke.
