A 32-year-old man from Winnipeg has died after a collision west of Kenora involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer.
Ontario Provincial Police and emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 17 near Rush Bay at approximately 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities say the two vehicles collided on the highway, and the Winnipeg man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The section of Highway 17 remained closed for several hours as investigators examined the crash site before reopening shortly before 9 p.m.
