Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Brampton after a driver allegedly struck a light pole while attempting to evade officers early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 4:49 a.m. near the intersection of Bramalea Road and Countryside Drive. According to police, the driver crashed into a light post during the attempted getaway.
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
Road closures remain in effect in the area while investigators examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
