Two Lanark County paramedics are recovering after an ambulance was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 15 in Rideau Lakes on Monday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision occurred in the Elgin area during the early morning hours. No patients were inside the ambulance at the time of the incident.
The Mississippi River Health Alliance confirmed that both paramedics were taken to hospital for assessment and treatment. Their injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening, and both are in stable condition.
Officials said the focus remains on supporting the injured paramedics as they continue their recovery.
