A 22-year-old Winnipeg man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle rollover in a rural residential area near Kenora on June 6.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. and resulted in the vehicle overturning. Following an investigation, Ontario Provincial Police charged the driver with careless driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and operating a vehicle as a G1 licence holder without a qualified accompanying driver.

Police shared a photo of the overturned vehicle on social media and used the incident as a reminder for motorists to follow traffic laws and drive responsibly.
