No one was killed in a serious two-vehicle collision in Oxford County on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Culloden Line and Salford Road, south of Ingersoll, around 8 a.m. after a crash involving a pickup truck and a transport truck carrying metal.
Investigators say the pickup truck entered the intersection and crossed into the path of the transport truck, causing the larger vehicle to overturn and forcing the pickup into a ditch.
Police are urging motorists to exercise caution at intersections and take extra time to check for oncoming traffic before proceeding.
The transport truck driver suffered minor injuries, while the pickup truck driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway has since reopened following the collision.
