A 14-year-old boy riding a scooter suffered minor injuries after being struck by a GO bus in Mississauga City Centre on Thursday afternoon.
According to Peel Regional Police, the collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road West and Duke of York Boulevard as the bus was making a right turn.
Police said the teen’s injuries were minor, largely due to the protective safety gear he was wearing at the time of the incident.
The bus remained at the scene while officers conducted their investigation, and the intersection was temporarily closed. No charges have been announced, and the investigation is continuing.
