A late-night six-vehicle collision in East York sent three people to hospital and resulted in the arrest of one individual.

Toronto police say the crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Don Mills Road and O’Connor Drive. Emergency crews responded to reports of a multi-vehicle collision involving six vehicles.

Authorities confirmed that one person was arrested at the scene for allegedly possessing a stolen vehicle. The suspect was transported to hospital as a precaution, with injuries later determined to be non-life-threatening.

Two other individuals were also taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision.
