A multi-vehicle collision in Scarborough early Sunday morning left at least six people injured, including one person with serious injuries.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a crash involving three to four vehicles on Lawrence Avenue East, just east of McCowan Road, shortly before 4 a.m.
Toronto paramedics assessed six individuals at the scene. Three people were transported to hospital, including one person taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Lawrence Avenue East remained closed at McCowan Road as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
