A 46-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving following a hit-and-run incident in Windsor early Tuesday morning.
Police responded shortly before 3 a.m. to reports of a suspected impaired driver in the 1400 block of George Avenue. Investigators allege a Jeep struck a parked vehicle before leaving the scene and later collided with another parked vehicle nearby.
Officers located the driver and observed signs of impairment, including the smell of alcohol. She was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where she allegedly failed a breath test.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The woman now faces multiple impaired driving-related charges.
