Two people from Grand Valley lost their lives in a late-night two-vehicle collision in Amaranth Township.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash near County Road 109 and Grandview Road at approximately 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. A 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third individual was taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
The affected roads were closed overnight to allow investigators and cleanup crews to work, reopening early Wednesday morning. Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the collision to come forward.
