A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Merivale Road and Meadowlands Drive in Nepean on Sunday afternoon left two men hospitalized and caused major traffic disruptions.
Ottawa paramedics responded to the scene shortly after 1:10 p.m. and assessed three men in their 20s. Two of the men were transported to hospital with serious but stable injuries, while the third was treated at the scene.
The collision led to significant traffic delays and prompted temporary transit detours as authorities urged motorists to avoid the area. The intersection has since reopened and traffic has resumed.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
