A man has died after falling into a hole at a construction site in Brampton on Monday afternoon, according to police.
Emergency crews were called just before 4 p.m. to Kennedy Road South near Clarence Street, south of Queen Street East, following reports of an industrial incident.
Peel Regional Police said first responders attempted life-saving measures upon arrival, but the adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedic services confirmed they assessed one person but did not transport anyone to hospital.
The area has been secured, and the Ontario Ministry of Labour has been notified and will be leading the investigation, with assistance from police.
