Westbound Exeter Road remains closed following a collision involving a sedan and a transport truck at the intersection of Exeter Road and Sholto Drive.
The impact caused significant damage to the sedan, crushing the driver’s side door. The vehicle then crossed the centre median and struck a traffic sign, which became lodged underneath the car.
Authorities have not yet released information regarding injuries or potential charges.
The closure has led to heavy traffic congestion, with delays extending back to Wellington Road, where ongoing bus rapid transit construction is already affecting traffic flow.
