No injuries were reported after a vehicle fire spread to a garage in a Kitchener neighbourhood Tuesday night.

Fire crews responded to a home on Coopershawk Street and found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the driveway. The fire extended to a nearby garage and caused significant damage to a second vehicle before firefighters quickly brought it under control.

Residents safely evacuated the home before crews arrived. While smoke entered the house, the fire did not spread into the structure and the smoke was later cleared.

Damage to the two vehicles and the property is estimated at approximately $75,000.
