A 58-year-old woman was critically injured in a two-vehicle collision in Hamilton late Tuesday night.
The crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. near Upper Wellington Street and Sirente Drive, involving a Nissan SUV and a Honda Accord. The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, where she is now reported to be in stable condition.
The other driver, a 19-year-old Hamilton man, suffered minor injuries.
Hamilton Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash and is asking witnesses, motorists with dashcam footage, and nearby residents or businesses with surveillance video to come forward. Upper Wellington Street remains closed in the area as the investigation continues.
