Provincial police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a serious rollover crash in Tiny Township that left two people injured Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Concession 17 West and Cedar Point Road at approximately 8:45 a.m. after reports of a vehicle rollover. When officers arrived, bystanders were already assisting at the scene, where one occupant was trapped beneath the vehicle.
The individual was extricated and airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre for treatment. A second occupant was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision and are also trying to determine whether additional individuals may have been involved.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or surveillance footage from the area is being asked to contact the Southern Georgian Bay OPP.
