A collision involving a pickup truck and a transport truck caused traffic disruptions on Highway 69 in Archipelago Township on Thursday evening.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash just north of the Highway 529 junction before 6 p.m. The southbound lanes at the interchange were closed, although two lanes remained open to allow traffic through.
Emergency crews were assessing those involved at the scene, but police had not yet confirmed the number of people injured or the severity of their injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no information on potential charges has been released. Motorists travelling through the area were advised to expect delays and consider alternate routes.
