York Regional Police are investigating an overnight house fire in Vaughan as a suspected arson.
The blaze broke out at a mansion on Mizuno Crescent, near Nashville and Huntington roads, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Firefighters battled heavy flames that spread throughout the home before bringing the fire under control by around 6 a.m.
Authorities confirmed the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has joined the investigation to determine the cause, origin, and circumstances surrounding the blaze.
