A 35-year-old Brampton driver has had their licence suspended following a rollover crash in Puslinch Township that led to a roadside alcohol screening.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 34, south of Guelph, at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Officers suspected the driver had consumed alcohol and administered a roadside breath test, which resulted in a warning-level reading.

The driver was charged with careless driving and issued a seven-day licence suspension. Police have not released the individual’s name. A court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 6.
