A 47-year-old man has died after a house fire on Texas Road in Amherstburg Friday night.
Emergency crews responded to the fire in the 100 block of Texas Road shortly before 9:30 p.m. Firefighters brought the blaze under control before discovering the victim inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Windsor police are assisting with an arson investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the Windsor Police Service Arson Unit.
