A man in his late 20s is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Brampton early Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to the area of Queen Street East near Cherrycrest Drive and Beaumaris Drive at about 12:45 a.m. Following the collision, the pedestrian was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver remained at the scene, and the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
