A 52-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a collision on the westbound E. C. Row Expressway in Windsor on Tuesday evening.
Windsor police said officers responded to the crash shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Howard Avenue. Preliminary findings indicate the motorcyclist was changing lanes when the motorcycle collided with a vehicle travelling in the same direction.
The injured rider was taken to hospital for treatment. Police said the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The expressway was closed for several hours as members of the Traffic Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Identification Unit examined the crash scene.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or other video footage to contact the Windsor Police Service.
