Chatham-Kent police are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in North Buxton.
Emergency crews responded to the crash at the intersection of A.D. Shadd Road and 9th Line at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators say the motorcycle was travelling northbound when it collided with a southbound vehicle.
The 31-year-old motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service’s Traffic Management Unit is leading the investigation. A.D. Shadd Road was closed for several hours while officers examined the scene but has since reopened.
