A 41-year-old Foxboro man has died following a single-vehicle collision in the Tweed area late Wednesday night.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Rapids Road, between Martin Road and Marrisett Road, at approximately 11:50 p.m. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Central Hastings OPP is investigating with assistance from collision reconstructionists and technical collision investigators. Rapids Road was closed overnight during the investigation but has since reopened.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or surveillance footage from the area to contact investigators.
