A pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga on Friday night.
The collision occurred around the intersection of Lakeshore Road East and Hurontario Street while the pedestrian was crossing the roadway.
Peel Paramedics said the injured person was transported to hospital in stable condition despite sustaining serious injuries.
Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene as the investigation continues.
