A man in his 20s died following a collision between a dirt bike and an SUV in Mississauga’s Meadowvale neighbourhood on Sunday night.
Peel Regional Police said the crash happened shortly before 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Argentia and Kitimat roads, close to Mississauga Road. The dirt bike was reportedly travelling eastbound on Argentia Road while the SUV was heading westbound when the vehicles collided for reasons that remain under investigation.
The dirt bike rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV remained at the location following the collision. The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward.
