A 21-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre after a serious collision in south Barrie on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded shortly before 7 a.m. to a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck towing a flatbed near Churchill Road and Welham Road. Police said the impact left the motorcyclist with critical injuries.
The area was temporarily closed while investigators examined the scene but has since reopened to traffic.
