A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Scarborough’s Malvern neighbourhood on Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to a collision at Neilson Road and McLevin Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. The teen was transported to hospital with injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening.
The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Motorists in the area were advised to expect delays while the investigation continued.
