Several homes were temporarily evacuated after a large garage fire in Mississauga overnight.
Emergency crews responded to the blaze at the rear of a home on Michaud Avenue, near Derry Road and Goreway Drive in the Malton neighbourhood, at about 1:40 a.m.
Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution while firefighters worked to contain the fire. No injuries were reported.
By 3:30 a.m., residents were allowed to return to their homes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
