A suspected medical emergency is believed to have caused a single-vehicle crash in Barrie that knocked down a light post Thursday morning.
The collision happened at about 10:15 a.m. on Essa Road near Ardagh Road. Barrie police say a vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic before striking a light post and a transit sign at a nearby bus stop.
A school bus driver who witnessed the crash stopped to help the occupants until emergency crews arrived.
A man and woman, both in their 60s, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
