A 63-year-old man from Markham has died after falling overboard into Lake Muskoka, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday near Walker’s Point, more than 20 kilometres north of Gravenhurst. OPP officers said the force’s underwater search and recovery unit later located the man’s body, and he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released further details about how the incident unfolded. The investigation remains ongoing.
