A 40-year-old Wasaga Beach man is dead following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Saturday evening.
Emergency crews, including police, paramedics and firefighters, responded to the collision on Beachwood Road at about 7:37 p.m. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash prompted the closure of Beachwood Road between the Mosley Street roundabout and Robert Street South before the closure was extended to 75th Street South. The roadway reopened shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam footage or information related to the crash to contact police as the investigation continues.
