A 38-year-old Guelph resident has died after being struck in a six-vehicle collision on Highway 6 late Sunday night.
Wellington County OPP, along with local fire and paramedic services, responded to the crash just before midnight near Guelph. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Highway 6 between Stone Road and Kortright Road remained closed for several hours while investigators examined the scene before reopening early Monday morning.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact investigators.
