A 55-year-old Cambridge man has been charged after a dump truck collided with a trailer being towed by a pickup truck in Burlington.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 5 and Brock Road. The impact caused the trailer to catch fire.
The 36-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, while the dump truck driver was uninjured. Police have charged the Cambridge man with a red-light offence.
The incident remains under investigation.
