A 25-year-old Belleville resident has died after a collision involving a motorcycle and a dump truck in Trenton on Wednesday evening.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Old Highway 2. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the collision, Old Highway 2 was closed between South Perimeter Road and RCAF Road for several hours as investigators examined the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
