A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being thrown from his motorcycle in a single-vehicle crash in Mississauga on Thursday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police responded just before 3 p.m. to the collision near Ridgeway Drive and McMaster Road in the Erin Mills neighbourhood, east of Highway 403 and north of Dundas Street West.
Paramedics said the adult male rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Ridgeway Drive remains closed in both directions between McMaster Road and Dovetail Mews as police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
