One person was rescued after a vehicle was found submerged in the Credit River in Brampton on Thursday evening.
Peel Regional Police said emergency crews were called to the area of Martins Boulevard shortly before 6 p.m. Police, along with Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, successfully removed an individual from the vehicle.
Paramedics transported one person to a local hospital, though the extent of their injuries has not been released.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
