A 55-year-old man from New Brunswick was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Listowel on Saturday night.
Perth County OPP and emergency medical crews responded to the collision on Perth Road 158, between Line 81 and Line 84, shortly before 11 p.m. The pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported. The affected section of Perth Road 158 was closed for several hours during the investigation but has since reopened.
Police continue to investigate the fatal collision.
