Toronto police are investigating a collision that left an 11-year-old boy with serious injuries after he lost control of his electric scooter and struck a parked van.
The incident occurred just before 4:45 p.m. on July 21 near Dynevor Road and Rowan Avenue. Police said the child was travelling north on Dynevor Road when the crash happened and was transported to hospital for treatment.
Investigators are trying to identify the driver of a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck seen in the area at the time of the collision and are also seeking the owner of the parked silver van involved.
