Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the driver of a pickup truck that left the scene after a cyclist was hit on Highway 17 in Wahnapitae on the morning of July 26.
Officers from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment responded to the crash at around 7:20 a.m. The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a dark-coloured Ford pickup truck that may have damage to the passenger side, including a missing side mirror.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage in the area to contact the OPP.
