A three-vehicle collision on Highway 400 early Thursday left one person with life-threatening injuries and two others with minor injuries.

Ontario Provincial Police said the crash occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition, while two other individuals were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators confirmed all three vehicles remained at the scene as the cause of the collision continues to be examined. Cleanup operations lasted several hours, and by 8:45 a.m., police announced that both highway ramps had reopened.
