A 63-year-old Fort Erie man remains in critical condition after crashing an electric scooter on the Friendship Trail Friday afternoon.
Niagara Regional Police responded to the scene at about 1:40 p.m. and found the man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital outside the Niagara Region for treatment.
Investigators believe the man lost control of the e-scooter while travelling along the trail. Police said there is currently no indication that another vehicle was involved in the incident.
