One person was taken to hospital following a serious single-vehicle crash in Bolton on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the collision at about 1:30 p.m. on Mayfield Road, prompting the closure of the roadway between Coleraine Drive and Humber Station Road.
Police say crews are replacing a damaged hydro pole while investigators examine the scene. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The road closure is expected to remain in place until Saturday evening as the investigation and repair work continue.
