A man in his 60s was taken to a trauma centre after being struck by a vehicle in Toronto’s Cabbagetown area on Monday afternoon.
Toronto police said the collision occurred near Parliament Street and Wellesley Street East at around 12:15 p.m. Paramedics transported the man to hospital, where he was later reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene following the collision. Parliament Street was temporarily closed between Amelia Street and Wellesley Street East during the investigation but has since reopened.
